Abacus students arrive at CWBS with a remarkable foundation for learning. These young learners are not only confident and independent but also demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, along with a natural curiosity that fuels their exploration and discovery. It's wonderful to see how well-prepared they are to engage with the primary curriculum and contribute positively to our school community. Abacus kindergarten lays a strong groundwork that supports children’s growth as capable learners.

Abacus is a fantastic school that offers a wonderfully nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students. Staff are supportive and friendly, I feel supported, valued and heard by Senior Leadership. I can't wait for my son to be joining Abacus this coming August, I know it will offer him a fantastic start to his school journey. Staff and Parents work like a team here, transparency is so beautifully handled, staff seems to genuinely care for each and every child's and colleague's well-being, so much room to make mistakes and learn from them in order to perform better. Growth mindset and the effort that's put in here by the leadership to take every individual to their maximum potential is exceptional.

One of the best things about Abacus is the community it has built. As a family, we are proud to tell others that our children attend the school as it's well known that children who go through Abacus and the ESF system as a whole are really wonderful, caring and bright. The themes around how to structure learning throughout the school year are really well thought out, especially for the age that Abacus looks after. Learning through play is so important for children especially in Hong Kong and this generation when parents can fall down the slippery slope of over-scheduling. I know that if my children did nothing else outside of school they would be incredibly fulfilled because of the learning environment built by Abacus.

Abacus is a great school, my child loves being at school and is really well cared for by staff. We love the school and especially the outdoor area. Great leadership and great teachers.

Before applying to Abacus we were told what a beautiful community it was, but it was not until our son joined the school that we could quite grasp the extent of this community and the supportive, nurturing, inclusive nature that it harbours. The learning environment at ESF Abacus is optimal for all young children. It’s been almost a year since my daughter joined the school and I see immense change in her independence and confidence.The curriculum and teaching methods are very well designed as they embrace a child for learning and development. Teachers are amazing and they take good care of every student. They are child centred and make coming to school so much fun. There is never a dull moment at school with all the fun activities and messy play. We recommend ESF Abacus Kindergarten to everyone!

Abacus provides a very caring environment for my son. All the staff and teachers there are very patient and supportive during his learning. We especially like the outdoor playground for promoting various essential skills and motor development for the kids. ‎

It is fun and fun and fun. I like playing on the swings and singing.
